It's different on the streets especially when it's mostly just straights. The Element SUV was developed by Honda specifically for a young audience. Repeat steps 2-6 until you are happy - Remove whatever you used to jam the clutch fork from moving - Pump the pedal a dozen times to see if the clutch pedal firms up, it should. Check/add brake fluid to clutch reservoir 7. I keep up and past gt3s and gtrs all day on the track. Press down on clutch pedal and let go (it should just stay down) 4. But back on turns you'll loose the momentum. Force induction doesn't really help too much on the track but does provide a little pick up on straights. Force induction is not a must but if you are looking for that extra horse power it does a good job. Honda created some safety unit on the ap2 that created some hesitation on gear change. Replace with ap2 valve springs and clips to prevent valves from dropping into the block Suggestions if you were to go s2000 route. Replaced with oem Honda one and it was fine after that. Im thinking of just replacing the clutch too as it does show some decent wear. This is very important not to short out the heater element to the frame. Only issue I've had was blowing up an aftermarket exedy throw out bearing into 3 pieces. (from a coolant reservoir I used on the water heater setup) to keep the ceramic heater from touching any metal. I have owned mine for the past 135k miles. Swapped in a new center armrest and console this week, it's like a new car! ? Probably paint that stupid shift boot bezel with bed liner so I'll never have to worry about it again.įor an overall sports car, It's cheap, it's affordable, and it's reliable. Gets beat on constantly, one or two Dragon trips a year. My setup is now: Stock cats -> stock baby resonators -> Magnaflow 11385 resonated X-pipe in place of center suitcase resonator -> (2) Vibrant Ultra-Quiet 2.25' resonators with 4' double wall stainless tips. About a quart or two of oil burned between oil changes. Another good thing about these, is that there isnt much of a fitment issue that is typical to other mufflers. Then shortly replaced again when I was unaware of the high temp grease. Clutch/bearing was changed because idiot previous owner. Diff, axles, bearings all needed changing. I have killed parts before but that's not Honda's fault. Will have Billman check it over at the Dragon in a couple weeks.

Somehow I've not needed a chain tensioner either. Master and slave cylinder is one with perishable seals that most forget need changing, did couple years ago. Check for leaks (valve cover gasket might be due again soon), change the oil when it's dirty (or loss of power at 9k from filter).
